‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 18 preview: Danny’s dream
Is Danny getting a little too old for this (bleep)? There’s a new sneak peek below from Friday’s ‘Hawaii Five-0‘ season 7, episode 18, and it’s a pretty hilarious one so long as you watch the show primarily for the banter between McGarrett and his partner.
Here’s the setup: The two are left wandering through the jungle, mostly as a means to uncover some of the missing uranium. Here’s the (rather unwelcome) twist: At some point along the way, they’ll learn that it was used for a bomb. They have to try and defuse that without causing any harm or loss of life. Also, in the process they’re going to fight about it and everything else in between. (Hey, this is one of the reason they’re among our favorite TV bromances.)
Specifically, what’s great about this sneak peek is learning what Danny wants to do beyond being a cop. Let’s just say that it may make your stomach growl…
Given that this “Hawaii Five-0” a.k.a. a show that does eventually like to give you some answers, our feeling is that by the end of the episode, there will be a chance to see whether or not the two guys are successful in their quest. We like that this is a story geared towards paying off something that unfolded a little bit earlier in the season, and it’s great to get the two guys back at the forefront of a case once more. Two weeks ago, the Valentine’s Day special put them on a different (but very funny) path. Meanwhile, last week was a case that focused a good deal of its time and energy on the dynamic between Dr. Madison Gray and Alicia Brown — not that we minded, given how intense and fantastic that was.

Bonus sneak peek – This escalated quickly
Right when you started to think that the guys were going to be able to search for the bomb unopposed, guys with guys show up and make this a rather miserable time. Consider this one of the most threatened that we’ve seen them through season 7 to date.
