‘The Bachelor’: All about the increasingly irrelevant Josh Murray – Nick Viall feud

Nick -For a guy who seems to claim that he wants a little more privacy, Josh Murray sure is saying a LOT of stuff … and most of it just seems to be ridiculous.

There are a couple of things that are making the rounds right now, largely because of a recent appearance that Murray made on an “Entertainment Tonight” Facebook Live chat he recently gave.

The one that is getting the most headlines right now is his claim that Nick Viall may not be starring on “The Bachelor” with the best “intentions” in mind … though he still wishes him well and blah blah blah. This is like if Nick was starring on a cooking show and Josh said “he’s not actually a real chef, but good luck and I’m sure it will work out for him.” The passive-aggressive nature of said comments is STRONG.

Here’s our honest take when it comes to Nick as a leading man this season. Does he want fame? Absolutely, but we would argue that anyone who appears on this franchise more than once is in it for fame. Appearing on the franchise once is an excusable action, given that at that point, you can claim that you are naive and you just wanted a fun experience for one reason or another. Doing it on a couple of different occasions, however, is setting yourself up for a little bit more scrutiny. You know what you’re getting into … and Josh has done this show twice plus an appearance on “Famously Single.” What we’re trying to say here is that obviously, Josh has got no problem with fame and this is totally a pot-meets-kettle sort of scenario. Josh may have been on the shows for love, but it’s not an either / or situation. You can want both! That’s okay.

Josh also noted in this interview that Nick and Andi Dorfman were probably perfect for each other and should’ve ended up together … which is a statement so weird for him to make that we have almost no accurate response for it. If Andi felt that way, wouldn’t she have picked Nick to win? Just saying.

What do you think about Josh’s comments, and do you think that they hold ANY merit at this point at all? Share below, and be sure to visit the link here in the event you’re interested in gathering some further news when it comes to the show. (Photo: ABC.)
