‘Bull’ episode 15 preview: The latest face-off with Diana Lindsay
Tonight, “Bull” is bringing back Jill Flint as Diana Lindsay for the latest episode “What’s Your Number?” — and judging from the sneak peek below, things are going to get very complicated quickly between her and Dr. Bull.
As we know already, these two characters have a history together, and that is what makes them such an interesting set of rivals whenever they go into court. There’s an obvious chemistry that they have, and we feel pretty confident that there are some real feelings there between the two of them. At the same time, though, you have to view this through the lens that these are also two people who very much want to win — and why wouldn’t they? They want to get the best for their clients, and it makes sense that they would do whatever they could in order to make that happen — even if that means Diana trying to destabilize Bull or vice-versa.
We imagine that this case is going to get a little bit more complicated than just two rivals trying to out-manipulate one another — this is “Bull,” and therefore nothing is ever as it seems in the early going of an episode. One thing that we do appreciate especially going into this one is that the pressure is somewhat lifted in terms of the “Bull always wins” mentality that the show had going on last week. Maybe you can label the case last week as a moral victory, but this was the first time within the present that he’s represented someone who still ended up doing substantial jail time — it was just far less than it would have been otherwise had he not figured out a way to shake things up after the conviction came in.
For now, let’s just say that this looks like an episode that’s going to have a lot going on. There’s a good deal of humor, a lot of personality, and getting Flint and Michael Weatherly in the same room is always going to be fun. (Also, let’s hope for some scenes for Flint and Freddy Rodriguez, given that they worked together on “The Night Shift” for some time.)
