‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Eden Sassoon stands by her comments
When Eden Sassoon first showed up on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” we thought that this was going to be one of those “Friends of the Housewives” who really doesn’t make all that much of an impact. She would show up at a few parties, get into some fights, and then go about her merry way.
Yet, Lisa Rinna’s comments about what Eden Sassoon supposedly said to her are causing this story to have a whole lot more life than we ever thought possible. Is Eden some sort of terrible gossip who slashes personalities and people left and right? The conversation between Eden and Dorit Kemsley below is rather interesting just from the vantage point of the conflicting perspectives on what was said, and how complicit Eden was in some of the things Lisa’s sense spread around.
Probably the most interesting word that we hear in the entire conversation is “induced,’ suggesting as though Lisa Rinna has a different personality around everyone as opposed to the one she has in a more isolated setting. We don’t think necessarily that anything salacious was meant by this; instead, it’s probably more just a reference to the filming persona versus the everyday persona. We think of many of the Housewives as heightened versions of their authentic characters. There’s nothing altogether wrong with this, so we cannot claim that we’re necessarily all that shocked or surprised by this.
As for if there’s a resolution coming for this, we really think that it won’t happened until you get everyone in the game room — maybe that won’t be until the reunion, but we’d like to see it before then just to see how combustible things get with all of the rumors. We absolutely know that the tension’s been brewing for a good while now with several different people and Rinna in particular, especially when it comes to her comments towards Kim Richards.
