WGA Awards 2017: ‘This Is Us,’ ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘BoJack Horseman’ among winners
There was a lot going on across TV on Sunday night, but one thing that we certainly do not want to overlook is the Writers Guild Awards. Writing is one of the most essential aspects of all things television, and it only feels right to give it some special commendation in an awards-show that certainly deserves more than it gets.
Below, you can see some of the major TV-related winners tonight — in general, there aren’t too many astounding surprises, though for us personally it was a thrill to see some love handed down to “This Is Us” (which still deserves more than it’s getting) and “BoJack Horseman,” one of our favorite shows regardless of whether or not it gets lumped into animation categories.
