‘Black Sails’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Flint offers himself up
There are many episodes of “Black Sails” that are certainly action-packed, and then there are also others that tend to be a tad more political. Based on the information that we’ve got for the next new episode airing in one week’s time, it feels as though it may be most appropriate to discuss what is coming up next with the latter term. After all, we’re not going to see Captain Flint decide that he’s fine to be collateral on a very regular basis! It’s a risk that he is taking, but he’s not the only person who is making such a risk right now. After all, there are a few other people putting themselves in harm’s way, and we do have to see a little more of what’s going to be coming up with them (specifically Elanor).
Synopsis (via SpoilerTV) – “Silver takes Flint’s life in his hands; Billy drives a wedge; Eleanor risks everything; Rogers makes a stunning appeal.”
This gives you a nice little summary of some of the key events that are going to lie ahead, but remember that we’re not at the culmination of this story just yet. Even with these aforementioned risks, they could build very much beyond just what we see in this coming episode. This is only getting us to the halfway point of the final season; from there, we’ll start to see the beginnings of a neat little bow tied around the series — though for a few characters, this bow may be made of crossbones. For those whoa re familiar with the lore (or are just Treasure Island fans), you’re likely familiar with now not everyone will be making it out of here alive.
Is there anything that you want to see on the next “Black Sails” episode, and what’s your take on how the story is progressing so far in the final season? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment, and head over here in the event you want some further news right now when it comes to the show!
Hopefully, there will be more to share before the next episode comes on the air. (Photo: Starz.)
