‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss, Prosha Williams try to cut through a fog of rumors
As Porsha Williams puts it in the sneak peek below for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” we’re going to be seeing quite a few personal lives “be put out on Front Street” during Sunday night’s episode.
The entire basis of the argument that she and Kandi Burruss seem to have going on right now is absurd — talk about who’s been with women before in the past, secret lesbians, and all of that sort of stuff. Let’s kick this off with a big WHO, followed by a big CARES. Who cares? What’s the point of any of this? If someone is a lesbian, what business does anyone else have in it? It’s not like it impacts who they are as a person or what they do in their spare time. Also, a pretty high percentage of what is talked about on this show actually is not true … or at least that’s the way that it is in the way in which that some of the women choose to explain it.
We know that this is probably just about the “principle” of being right just as much as it is anything — both Kandi and Porsha probably each want to say that they’re doing things the right way and speaking their truth, and therefore they’re going to be doing anything and everything in order to buck anyone saying otherwise. They want the other person to admit that they were wrong more than they want anything else.
Really, we could label the entire “Real Housewives” franchise as “tell me I’m right and we’ll move on.” We find that is applicable for the vast majority of the discussions that we end up seeing on the show. This episode (hopefully) will end on a little bit of a better note following the camping trip — regardless, we still firmly expect all of this stuff to regurgitate in time for the reunion show because this is the sort of stuff that does tend to happen here the majority of the time.
