‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 24: Which ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star should appear?
At this point, you’re probably aware of the history that “Dancing with the Stars” has already with casting fan favorites from “Pretty Little Liars.” You’ve seen Janel Parrish (Mona) hit the stage, just as Brant Daugherty (Noel) was also a part of it — back when he had his head on straight. (Yes, we did just go for the most obvious joke in human history and we have absolutely zero regrets about it at all.)
Given that this is the final season of the show coming up, and the cast is actually done with filming already, this is certainly the time in which it makes the most sense to try and cast someone else from the “PLL” world on the series. So … who could it be? We’ve got some suggestions to hand out, and we’re throwing these out there with the knowledge that Lucy Hale and Ian Harding are both appearing in pilots and therefore may be too busy during this period to do the ballroom-dancing show.
Shay Mitchell – We could easily see her having a lot of fun with it, and getting into some of the themes and the dance styles. She’s extremely popular on social media, so if she was to go on, we think there’s a good chance that she would make it pretty darn far.
Sasha Pieterse – She’s got ties to both music and performance, so she may actually be the best choice of you’re looking for someone to get more into the spirit of the dance than anything else.
Keegan Allen – While he does have a guest spot coming on “Major Crimes,” we don’t think it would impede with his ability to do the show if he really wanted to take something like this on.
Tyler Blackburn – Caleb was never the sort of character on “Pretty Little Liars” we could ever imagine dancing — therefore, from the surprise factor alone we could envision this being rather fun.
Ashley Benson – Would she do it? We would hope so, since we think that she’d have a lot of fun. Ultimately, though, the thing with all of the people we’ve mentioned here is that we could envision them all declining just out of a desire to have a little bit of space and breathing room in the wake of being a part of such a popular show for so long.
