‘Switched at Birth’ season 5, episode 3 preview: Regina makes a decision about Luca
There is a new episode of “Switched at Birth” airing on Freeform Monday, and judging from the sneak peeks below, there’s going to be quite a bit of stuff that needs to unravel. There’s one relationship that is very much still in the early stages, but then another that is at a very different stage altogether.
Let’s start by discussing the state of things for Regina and Luca, otherwise known as a couple who could have very easily called things off earlier this season. That didn’t happen, and now she’s trying to think as to the best way in order to properly introduce him to the rest of the family. We’re certainly one of those people that believes that love is love, so it’s not really our position to judge their relationship or whether or not they are happy with each other.
We’ll say that within the sneak peek itself, they way they speak about making the reveal is rather fun, and natural for any couple. She doesn’t want things to be awkward, so she’s trying to figure out a way for everyone to get to know him better before dropping the big news. She is taking him into consideration, and that is something you always want to do no matter the relationship. We like that she’s thinking with this particular wavelength in mind.
As for the second sneak peek, this one gives you a sense of John and Kathryn preparing for Toby’s arrival. He is coming back and could even be planning a wedding in the backyard; of course, this is “Switched at Birth,” so we do know a thing or two already about how the best-laid plans often go to waste, and we don’t often get to see things work out in the way in which anyone wants or expects for them to.
In the end, we imagine that there are going to be many great moments and fun stories ahead on this episode; we’re certainly happy to talk and discuss them further in the coming weeks. Stay tuned…
