‘Homeland’ season 6, episode 4 preview: What’s to come for Carrie, Saul
After a week off for the Super Bowl, you can rest assured that you are finally going to get a new episode of “Homeland” on the air Sunday night! Not only that, but this is a particularly big one when it comes to tying together some of the major storylines that have defined the season to date.
For the sake of this of this article, we want to give you a couple of teases in terms of what you can expect to see.
1. Saul gets kidnapped – While overseas working on his mission, Mandy Patinkin’s character is going to run into some trouble. What makes this so challenging is clearly that he’s not going to have too many people at his beck and call to help — we’ve certainly seen similar situations in the past, but typically, there were some other characters readily available.
Hopefully, Saul is going to be able to rely on his own wiles to get out of this situation.
2. Carrie and Dar Adal face off – Clearly, Carrie does have some explaining to do when it comes to her relationship with President-elect Keane. She and Dar will argue over the fact that he had a relationship with Keane even before she was elected, and she was a source of valuable information and advice. Dar wants her to lay off, and she will try to fight back. She’s no longer with the government, but the thing about “Homeland” is that you really never go too far away from it. One way or another, it does find a way to drag you back in. This seems to be very much the case here as well.
This episode will bring you closer to some big touchstones of this season — and hopefully ones that give you a good sense as to where Carrie will fit into everything when the dust finally settles.
