‘Call the Midwife’ season 6, episode 4 preview: Trixie’s new class; Shelagh tries to rest

Call the Midwife -

There is a new episode of “Call the Midwife” that is coming to BBC One on Sunday, and with Trixie now back at Nonnatus House, there are several different things in which you should prepare to see.

Specifically, you’re going to get a rather-great opportunity in order to see her back running one of her exercise classes! Just look at the preview below for evidence. This is something that has become a form of healing for Trixie, as it is another venue for her to help others and a way to transmit some of the energy that she was using previously for other, less-healthy addictions. She’s got Barbara involved in this one, and it produces a rather funny scene that reminds us of why Trixie’s energy is always appreciated on the series.

Of course, of the strange things about this season is that we don’t exactly have many episodes at present that are featuring her, Patsy, and Barbara at once — we’re fairly confident Patsy will return eventually, especially since we know that she loves this job, and she also has this relationship with Delia. There is a personal incentive for her to make her way back.

As for what else you can anticipate seeing in this episode, the sneak peek below also gives you an opportunity to see how Shelagh is faring in the wake of her hospitalization. Hopefully, everything turns out okay for her and her unborn child. We certainly imagine that this has to be a rather unusual situation for both her and Dr. Turner, mostly because they’ve become so used to taking care of other people in this situation over time. We know that they are resilient, so there is every reason in the world to think that they’ll make it through this situation without a problem.
