‘Emerald City’ episode 8 preview: The battle for Oz intensifies

Emerald city -

Tonight, “Emerald City” aired an episode that found a way to raise the stakes once more, and of course, there are questions started to arise about how the first season of the show (and possibly the series itself, given the ratings) is going to be coming to a close. There’s going to be a few chances that we’ve got to see some epic battles coming up, and there are some big reveals and decisions that are still to come.

The next new episode of the show is entitled “Lions in Winter,” and we’re going to have a chance to see Dorothy arrive at Glinda’s castle. From there, things are going to be all the more interesting. Think of the synopsis below as a way to get a little more in the way of insight.

Synopsis – “When Dorothy (Adria Arjona) and Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) arrive at Glinda’s (Joely Richardson) castle she reclaims something for which she has been searching. The Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) heads to the Kingdom of Ev to build his weapons arsenal. Meanwhile, West (Ana Ularu) uses some dangerous magic to help Tip (Jordan Loughran) reconnect with her past. In the Kingdom of Ev, Jack (Gerran Howell) struggles to find his place in Langwidere’s (guest star Stefanie Martini) life.”

The promo below does an even better job of showcasing the epic battle that is being waged here, and a reminder that there are only three more episodes still to come. It’s more of the more exciting previews that the show has highlighted to date, but one of the questions that we are still wondering is if there’s enough time to tie up all of the loose ends that have been established. We have to expect that we’re going to see things moved along at a rapid pace.
