‘The Bachelor’: Nick Viall gets honest about hookups, Chris Harrison, more on ‘Watch What Happens Live!’
Regardless of whether or not you like Nick Viall as “The Bachelor,” one of the best things about him is that he’s always going to be honest, and speak his mind about whatever is going on at any given moment. It’s one of his better qualities, and it’s absolutely something that he brings to his appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” this week.
During the interview below with Andy Cohen, he plays a game of “Never Have I Ever” in the dark where he speaks out a little bit about hookups with past contestants, whether or not he’s thought about sleeping with a crew member, and how much people flirt with host Chris Harrison. There aren’t too many things that Nick admits to that will blow your mind, mostly because they’re kind of what you would expect for someone who goes on the show. It’s the fact that he was willing to admit to them that is the surprise rather than just shying away from the subject altogether.
So why are you seeing Nick all over the place right now? It’s a good question, given that he’s been suddenly all over the place right in the middle of the season and that may be surprising to some out there. The simplest answer that we can offer for that right now is that it has to do mostly with the fact that the show likes to do a midseason press tour featuring their leads. It’s just not often that you get a lead in this environment … but Nick’s not your typical leading man for this show, either. He’s a little more bold and a little more willing to offer up an opinion than the majority of the guys you’re going to see appear as the Bachelor.
A bit of constructive criticism for Andy on this moving forward — don’t feel the need to hurry this along so much! There were times when Nick tried to respond to something, but he went along so quickly to the next item that we probably could’ve had a little bit more insight than what we ended up actually receiving.
