‘Switched at Birth’ season 5, episode 3 preview: Will Toby, Lily get married?

Next week’s new episode of “Switched at Birth” (entitled “Surprise!”) is going to be coming your way in a matter of weeks, and over the course of this hour, you’re going to see a wide array of different events coming up. Given that it is Valentine’s Day, it makes some sense that romance will be leading the way.

The good news entering the episode is that it looks as though Toby and Lily are going to be planning for their wedding. Unfortunately, this marks the end of their good news. The bad news is that some unexpected conflict could rise to the surface that causes the two parties to start to rethink everything. For more,

Synopsis – “Returning from London for a visit, Toby and Lily reveal their plans to get married in the Kennish backyard. But a fight before the wedding may tear them apart before they can say “I do.” Regina must decide whether to reveal her relationship with Luca to the family. When she least expects it, Bay runs into Tank (guest star Max Adler, “Glee”) again.”

Beyond what is happening with Toby and Lily, there’s also plenty of intrigue that could come out of seeing the likes of seeing Adler back on the show once more. Bay and Tank have such a difficult history that seeing where they are now should be compelling viewing — though our heart is going to go out to Bay as she goes through some of what she’s going through here.

Promo – This video keeps it fairly simple, and it focuses specifically on two different things — Bay and the “girl code,” but then also a crisis coming up in the Toby – Lily relationship. Will they piece this together before walking down the aisle? We certainly hope so, but time is not exactly on their side given that they were JUST about to get married.
