‘Shadowhunters’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Danger and dating advice

For all of the danger that is present on “Shadowhunters” moving further into the second season, we’re rather surprised that anyone still has any time or room at all for romance. Who knows? Maybe it’s all the attacks that are causing some of these characters thinking more with their heart rather than their head.

There is a ton that is going to be coming up on next week’s episode, and romance aside, Clary’s determination is going to be a huge component in the story as you get a great opportunity to see precisely how far she’s going to go in order to ensure that she is correct. She wants to get to Valentine, and to do in the way that she sees fit.

Synopsis – “Luke’s sister shows up at the Jade Wolf claiming innocence about the recent attack. But with Luke not trusting a word Cleo says, he finds himself at odds with Clary who sees an opportunity to get to Valentine. Yet how far will Clary go to prove she is right about Cleo? Meanwhile, Simon gets dating advice from a surprising source as Isabelle takes a dangerous path.”

As for the promo below, we think that it serves mostly as a great vessel to further accent some of the steaminess and the drama that we’ve already teased. We know that we’re building towards some big things, but we find it right that we stop in and focus on some smaller, more intimate moments here and there.

The one thing that we do hope that this next episode brings is a little more attention or another jump in the ratings. After all, the show’s most-recent episode drew a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is the lowest rating of the season to date. We want to see it staying strong!
