‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Lisa Rinna front and center (even when she’s away)
We feel for Kim Richards, mostly because at this point it feels like she becomes a topic of conversation on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” virtually anytime that some of the other ladies run out of viable stuff to discuss. Case in point, we’re now starting to get her at the center of a storyline again because of Lisa Rinna doubting that she is really sober and that she could be “near death.”
Before we go any further, why does Rinna continue to be the group conspiracy theorist? First, we spent a ton of time last season hearing her continue to talk about Yolanda Hadid’s illness, well beyond the point that we needed to. Now, she’s going on and on about Kim’s sobriety. How does she benefit from gossiping about either of these things? You don’t know! We’d rather see her spend all of her time watching her daughter at New York Fashion Week — on that note, why is it suddenly the trend for every Housewife daughter to be a model? The name Gigi Hadid is even conjured up in the promo below!
Rest assured, there are going to be some fun times ahead on the upcoming episode, as well — we are heading to Mexico, after all, and you do want to have a chance to see some people have a little bit of fun as a result of that. Some of these people certainly need a break!
Synopsis – “As the women pack for their trip to Mexico, Eden stops by Lisa Vanderpump’s house to tell her what Lisa Rinna said about Kim’s sobriety. With Lisa Rinna in NYC to see her model daughter walk at Fashion Week, the ladies in Mexico discuss her shocking comments.”
The thing about this show is that once something starts to spiral, it never becomes better before it gets worse. With that in mind, we imagine that we’re going to be getting a near-constant flood of gossip about Kim’s condition even without her around from now until the reunion show. For those wondering, we’d be fine never hearing about this again unless it is Kim present and talking about it herself.
