‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Nick Viall’s getting another two-on-one date

Nick -Has there ever been a pair of two-on-one dates on “The Bachelor” in two straight episodes? We all know that these are dates that the show loves to throw in there for the sake of making things as excruciating as possible for its contestants, so it’s certainly not much of a shock to hear about it happening this season. We just have a hard time imagining that the next one could be anywhere near as dramatic as the first one in that there aren’t many other people left who hate each other as much as Taylor Nolan and Corinne Olympios do. (It’d be funny if Corinne got two of these dates in a row, but we certainly don’t see that happening.)

We can’t tell you for certain who is on this particular date, but the synopsis below gives you a good indication of what’s coming:

“With the shattering group date in his rearview mirror, Nick turns to his second two-on-one date – this time with two bachelorettes that offer an encouraging preview of the future. After choosing between the two, he is finds himself struggling to connect with the woman he selected. Having hit the lowest point of his journey, Nick dissolves into tears admitting that this time he may not find anyone to love. Can he right the ship? What will happen to the remaining bachelorettes?”

The aftermath of this date is probably what leads to some of the moments that you’ve seen in various promos for the show where it looks as though Nick’s breaking down and wondering whether or not this experience is right for him. He’ll get past it, but this is that part of the show where we see the lead starting to freak out as they become exhausted over trying to figure out who they want to be with out of the field.

What we will say is that it’s been a minute since we saw someone send two people home on the two-on-one date, and it absolutely seems like this could happen here. Who knows? Based on the previews that are out there already, it certainly looks like Taylor’s going to try to get Corinne sent home, as well.
