‘Timeless’ spoilers: First photos of Misha Collins as Eliot Ness

Timeless -

We’ve got three episodes to go of “Timeless” on NBC, and for fans of “Supernatural,” there are certainly reasons to be excited about the one airing on Monday, February 13. After all, this is the one featuring Misha Collins stepping up in the role of Eliot Ness, the famed”Untouchables” crime-fighter from the gangster era of Chicago. He’s one of the only men who could bring Al Capone down, and in this episode we’re going to see Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus team up with him after Capone has a team-up of his own with Garcia Flynn.

While it’s not altogether clear as of yet what the endgame for Flynn is going to be in the era, and how Capone will factor into that, for the time being let’s just celebrate having some new photos from the episode! The image above features Collins in his role, and it’s pretty clear almost immediately why “Timeless” co-creator / “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke was so excited to be able to work with him again. He looks the part, and it’ll be fun getting to see him take on one of history’s most quintessential heroes.

Also, here’s to hoping that Kripke is able to bring more “Supernatural” cast members onto the show as we move into the second season.

In terms of the story, all we can speak to at the moment is where we are now. Lucy had a conversation with her father at the end of Monday’s episode, one where he certainly did his best to make her feel both threatened by Rittenhouse and also destined to be a part of it. Meanwhile, Wyatt is also currently under arrest after his rogue trip through time in order to save his wife, one that turned out to be rather fruitless. It’s certainly possible that at one point on “The Lost Generation” Monday (the episode before Ness’ arrival), we’re going to see some movement that gets everyone focused back on Flynn. What we know for certain is that time-travel is still a major part of the show, given that Anthony was killed after his plan was made clear to destroy both the Mothership and the Lifeboat in order to keep Rittenhouse from ever getting them in their possession.
