‘Lethal Weapon’ spoilers: More scoop on Leo Getz’s arrival

Lethal Weapon -

It wasn’t too long ago that some of the news first broke about the arrival of Leo Getz on “Lethal Weapon,” and the subsequent excitement that comes with that. While we absolutely have familiar characters from the feature films on the show already, it’s certainly nice anytime that you can add someone else to the mix.

So while you wait for a new episode of the show to come on Fox next Wednesday (there is no installment airing tonight), we can go ahead and present you some first details on Getz’s arrival in this world. He will be turning up on the February 15 episode fittingly titled “As Good as It Getz.” Just to make this all the more exciting, Thomas Lennon (as Getz) is not the only great guest star that you’re going to be seeing over the course of the episode — you’ll also be getting a chance to see more of Hilarie Burton as well! Specifically, Riggs and Murtaugh are forced to work with her DEA Agent character of Karen Palmer again in order to protect Getz, an opportunistic attorney who has some ties to the cartel.

What we are going to realize over the course of this episode is that 1) Getz may not be the only target in danger and 2) Riggs may find working with Agent Palmer a little more surprising than the first time around.

The last thing that we can set up about this episode in advance is that per Fox, Murtaugh is going to find himself surprised when Trish makes a spur-of-the-moment decision. Consider this one of many great teases to keep watching! We’re nearing the end of the first season, and as we get closer and closer to the finale date, you’ve gotta think that the writers are going to continue unleashing some surprises on us.
