‘The Bachelor’ episode 6: Should Danielle Maltby, Raven Gates receive additional one-on-one dates?

Tonight, “The Bachelor” gave us an episode that is probably going to be defined the most by the two-on-one date with Taylor Nolan and Corinne Olympios, which is precisely what the show wants. Given that this sort of stuff is always tremendously awkward, we have a feeling that there will be people talking about that for a rather long time.

So for the sake of this article, we want to look ahead to next week and ponder over the following question: Who will be the first person from this season to get a second one-on-one date? Will we have dates next week with people that haven’t received that time in the spotlight just yet? Both are possible, but if someone does get another solo date, mostly signs point to it being Danielle Maltby. She did just get a rose on the group date, and it does seem like she and Nick Viall have a mature, adult relationship that is about getting to know each other as much as romance. It’s pretty much the opposite of what is going on with Corinne.

Meanwhile, you have to think that Raven Gates is also a contender, given that much of the relationship between the two of them feels almost straight out of a romantic comedy. She has a very fun relationship with Nick, and the fact that she’s a little awkward around him — take her accidentally saying that she loves him — probably only makes her the more endearing to many people out there. She just has an energy about her that is very different from most of the other people on the show, and that is probably one of the reasons why she is so appealing to him.

Are there some other people on the show who are candidates for another date? Sure, with Vanessa Grimaldi and Danielle Lombard being high on the list. We don’t see Rachel Lindsay getting another one, mostly because of the fact that she JUST had one.
