‘Timeless’ episode 14 preview: How will Lucy, Wyatt move forward?

Timeless -To say that Monday night’s new episode of “Timeless” was heartbreaking would be making an understatement like no other. Wyatt went through everything, risking both his own life and his career, in order to bring his wife Jessica back from the head. Unfortunately, what we ended up seeing was Wyatt killing the wrong man on accident; not only was Jessica still dead after traveling back to the past, but in the process, he’s now arrested for his unauthorized trip through time.

“The Lost Generation” is the title for the next new episode of the show, and one of the story’s larger themes is going to be seeing just how he moves forward, and also how Lucy is going to struggle to move forward after her father made it abundantly clear to her that she was far more connected to the future of Rittenhouse than she would like to admit.

Synopsis – “As Lucy (Abigail Spencer) grapples with her newfound identity, Flynn (Goran Visnjic) disappears to 1927 France on the day that Charles Lindbergh (guest star Jesse Luken) completes his transatlantic flight. Now, Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), Lucy and their new soldier scramble through the City of Lights and team with young reporter, Ernest Hemingway (guest star Brandon Barash), to keep history intact. Meanwhile, locked in an undisclosed location, a despondent Wyatt (Matt Lanter) gets a visit from Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey), and the pair is left wondering if their enemies are closer than they realize.”

Everything on paper here sounds fantastic, especially in terms of where we are in the story right now. The stakes have never been higher, especially in terms of the threat that Rittenhouse is to the rest of the world.

So how does 1927 France factor into all of this? That’s what we have to wait in order to find out.

Promo – This makes it clear that Charles Lindbergh and Ernest Hemingway are both going to have a major role in the story ahead in France, but above all else, the big mystery is what Lucy is going to do next when it comes to her father. This is a matter that may need to be dealt with in the present more so than the past.
