‘Timeless’ episode 13 exclusive sneak peek: Wyatt clues in Lucy on his plan

Timeless -At the end of this past episode of “Timeless,” we saw the character of Wyatt make one of his biggest decisions to date, as he determined that he wanted to head back in time in order to save his wife Jessica from being killed. As for how he planned to do that, let’s just say that involves making sure Wes Gilliam’s parents don’t end up ever get a chance to conceive him. If he’s not around, Jessica cannot be killed by him down the road.

When Wyatt first conjured up this time-travel plan, there was one component of it that he’d yet to execute: Informing Lucy as to what he was about to do. This is what the exclusive sneak peek below from Monday’s “Karma Chameleon” is all about. He pays Lucy a visit late at night, and let her knows that he and Rufus are taking out the Lifeboat. However, he doesn’t want her to accompany him on the trip. He’s aware of her deal with Agent Christopher to get her sister back, and with that knows she needs plausible deniability. If she ends up saying at any point that she was a part of this plan, that deal could go up in smoke.

Lucy nonetheless has several questions and reactions to Wyatt’s news, even going so far as to ask what happens if there’s “a sticky history situation that [he] can’t history yourself out of.” Wyatt says that he’s done his research on the era, and is prepared for whatever happens. The same goes for if Flynn takes the Mothership out — he can always travel back to the present with Rufus, get Lucy, and do whatever he needs to if the situation calls for it.

Be prepared for “Karma Chameleon” to be one of the most emotional episodes for Wyatt to date, as Matt Lanter’s character will face higher stakes than ever before. He will have to ponder heavily over one question in particular: How far is he willing to go in order to get Jessica back? We’ll be back to discuss this further tonight with our full review of the episode.
