‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 10 preview: James’ confession, Livewire, and more
If there is a word that Kara would use to describe her interactions with the character, however, it’d more than likely be “frustrating.” After all, no matter what she seems to do when it comes to locking Leslie away, she doesn’t seem to stay there for long. She always escapes, and then Supergirl has to go on and defeat her all over again. It’s really a vicious cycle in that way.
The two sneak peeks below take on different dimensions of the battle. The first one is Kara vocalizing more of her frustrations on battling the character to James Olsen, who is trying to get a word in edgewise so that he can offer up a confession. Is he finally ready to admit to being Guardian? Seems like it. We imagine that she’d be upset about this at first (nobody likes it when a secret is kept from them), but in the end, she may realize that there is a certain degree of value in having someone else out there on the streets. He just has to be careful, given that the majority of his power comes from his own physical ability and his suit.
Meanwhile, the second sneak peek, one in which Livewire seems to dissociate herself from her own name, makes you wonder if she’s learned how to transfer her consciousness into another body and move around like an electrical current. That’s one possibility — the other is just that she’s so far gone that she doesn’t see herself as a mere human anymore.
