‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 15 preview: When the hunter becomes the hunted
There is a new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” coming your way on CBS Friday night, and judging from the new promo that was just released, one of the big stories at the center of this one is going to be political statements.
The first sight that you see in this preview is a rather-despicable guy who’s off hunting big game across the world. This is something that we could get into an extended rant about as an animal lover and protector of endangered species, but that’s not really the point of this article. Instead, we’ve got a case to discuss here where someone who is anti-poaching and killing endangered species takes things to another level … a dangerous one. The hunter’s body is found, and the assumption to make is that whoever is responsible for this did so in order to make a statement to convince these sort of people to not engage in these sort of acts.
As for how the team moves forward with this case, that remains to be seen — to us, what’s confusing is trying to chart what goes on here to the second part of the synopsis below:
“When working a murder case involving the illegal practice of shark finning, Five-0 uncovers the possibility that a former Nazi war criminal may be hiding out in an old leprosy colony in Hawaii.”
Is Five-0 going to discover this criminal while trying to figure out who killed the hunter? It’s certainly possible, but not entirely clear just yet. All we can say is that the stakes are going to be pretty high here on both accounts. If an old Nazi war criminal is found, you have to assume that this would be national news. The same goes for if the team manages to stop whoever is responsible for the other criminal, if for no other reason than the actions of the victim.
