‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Nick Viall and a New Orleans ghost story

Nick -There are a few things that producers on “The Bachelor” like to do to some of the various women who are a part of a various season, at somewhere near the top of the list is “terrify them for the sake of good clips to show on Twitter.” This is going to be a part of Monday night’s new episode, as the series is shifting its setting over to New Orleans, otherwise known as the perfect place to freak people out.

Now, we should make it clear right away that we’re not talking about the terrifying prospect of a two-on-one date with Corinne Olympios and Taylor Nolan, though that is something we’ve discussed here and there already. Instead, what we’re talking about here is the group date for the episode, one that seems to be designed mostly to freak some of the remaining women out while they take part in some scary times at a haunted plantation. Look below for some further details.

Synopsis – “A fright night delight brings Nick and ten women together for an evening of thrills at a majestic plantation, which supposedly is haunted by a resident ghost, “May,” who comes out to play. Who will be able to swallow their fears to capture the group date rose?”

Okay, so who wants to bet that May is really just Chris Harrison in surprise? If this is the case it may be our favorite “Bachelor” shocker in the history of the franchise. We’re not entirely sure what the focus of the date is since the odds seem fairly high that everyone is going to be too busy being freaked out to focus on romance. Then again, the date does not have Corinne as a part of it, so we do suppose that it has that going for it when it comes to an advantage. It’s one less bit of drama to deal with.
