‘Celebrity Big Brother 19’ eviction: Was Jedward, Jessica Cunningham, or Kim Woodburn sent home?
Today’s “Celebrity Big Brother” episode meant the end of the road for one more star in the house, and this one may not be too much of a surprise to anyone based on the online chatter.
After a public vote that lasted the past couple of days, it was confirmed that Jessica Cunningham of “The Apprentice” fame was sent packing. She had her fans out there, but at the same time there were two clear weaknesses to her game.
1. She arrived late – Want to be a huge player in the house? It suited you better to be there early to build up those friends — or a heavy amount of conflict. These are the two ways to get the attention of viewers. Like Chloe Ferry before her, Jessica had to work overtime, and she couldn’t win enough of the public over in time.
2. She wasn’t altogether crazy – You need to have a big personality one way or another to win this game, and she was surrounded with big personalities that made it challenging for her to stand out. She wasn’t altogether keen on being a terrible villain, and that may suit her well in life. It just doesn’t suit her all that well within the confines of a game where standing out in the field is the key to victory.
The irony that came from Jessica’s elimination mostly came via the timing of it, given that it was not all that long ago when Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag went into a tear about how well they felt like she was going to do. At best, they seemed to think that last place in the finale was her ceiling, but she won’t even make it that far.
Based on what we’re seeing, our feeling is that Speidi and Jedward are both going to make it to the finale — the public have had multiple opportunities to do away with the two of them, and they’ve declined to do so on multiple occasions. Granted, it’s not going to matter since James Cosmo is far and away the favorite to win this season. He’s almost so universally-charted as the top contender that the end result of the season could prove rather boring.
