‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 11 preview: Is Alex in jail?

Grey's 0

Tonight, “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to be back with the winter premiere, and all indications suggest that this is an episode that will revolve for the most part around the characters of Jo, Arizona, and Bailey in prison trying to help a difficult patient there. There won’t be too much time allotted to many of the other characters, but all indications point to get updates on some of them soon enough.

Specifically, next week’s new episode “Jukebox Hero” will pick up the story of Eliza Minnick formally taking over as the teaching boss at the hospital, which is something that not everyone is going to be happy with.

Synopsis – “Richard and the attendings set out to make Eliza’s first day at Grey Sloan a bumpy one. Meanwhile, Meredith tries to track down Alex.”

What has Alex done? The possibilities here are pretty endless given the charges that he’s facing … even if some of them are not likely. Maybe he opted to secretly take the plea deal without anyone knowing, or maybe he decides for whatever reason to skip town. We don’t know why in the world he would consider that to be a great idea (Alex wasn’t born yesterday — he’s not a contestant on CBS’ new show “Hunted” or anything), but this is a world where you have to consider almost every possibility under the sun in order to get an answer.

One thing that is fairly clear is that the show’s hiding something with this synopsis. They don’t tend to be this cryptic or this brief with some of the details that they choose to hand out.

Promo – Well, isn’t this kind of cruel? We wanted to get a promo during the episode tonight, but ABC didn’t offer one up. We saw one in the middle of “Scandal,” and it dropped quite a few surprises … including Alex potentially in jail.

What do you want to see coming up on “Grey’s Anatomy” next week? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment! Meanwhile, head over here in the event you want to get some additional news, including a review for tonight’s episode. (It’ll be posted mere minutes after it airs, so be sure to come back for that.)
