‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: New promo braces for Taylor Nolan – Corinne Olympios showdown

Taylor -Apparently, “The Bachelor” has decided that Corinne Olympios isn’t the only villain on the season — so is Taylor Nolan! Who knew? So far, the most evil thing she’s done is strongly dislike Corinne, which puts her in line with most of America.

Yet, the promo below decides that she should be compared to the likes of Olivia and many other past “villains” from the franchise as it sets up a two-on-one date that should be a battle for the ages. For anyone out there who loves to proclaim that this show is demented and loves to torment some of its contestants … well, you’re right. The video below courtesy of E! News is only further proof of that. These two are going to be with Nick Viall, throwing accusations out there about each other while he’s sitting right there. Corinne may be the more disliked of the two in the eyes of many fans, but at the same time, we do think that she’s got the edge if for no other reason than that she’s spent more time together.

Also, Corinne is far better television. Nick’s a smart guy, so we have to wonder if he knows that neither one of them is going to be his choice in the end; therefore, keeping Corinne around longer ensures a crazier, more headline-worthy season than someone whose claim to fame is mostly disliking this person more than anyone else.

The synopsis below via ABC also gives you a good sense as to what’s coming:

“[At the two-on-one date, the two] ladies involved couldn’t be any more at odds with one another. The hostility is palpable as they meet up with Nick in the magical bayou. The trio walk through the swampland and stumble upon a group of Voodoo worshippers who invite the women to have a tarot card reading. Not surprisingly, one woman turns on the other, leaving Nick with a tough decision about who should stay and who should be sent home. The woman who received the coveted rose is enjoying a romantic dinner with the Bachelor until they are interrupted by an unwelcome intrusion. The shocking conclusion to this fateful date will have someone eating crow.”

The first thing that we really have to point out here are the words “magical bayou.” Has anyone ever described a bayou as magical before, even in New Orleans? We’ve been to the show on a couple of occasions, and we haven’t quite heard it put that way.

Are you excited to see all this go down, or is “dreading it” a more appropriate way to put it? Share in the comments below! Meanwhile, head over here to check out another interesting controversy related to “The Bachelor,” though this time around it relates more to things going on with Raven Gates and an ABC affiliate.
