‘This Is Us’ episode 14 preview: A wedding and a love triangle

There is a new episode of “This Is Us” airing on NBC tonight, but the bad news that comes along with that is that you’re not going to have a chance to see one on January 31. Like with many other shows airing on the night, the NBC series is going to be in hiatus. They are making you be very much patient to see what’s coming up next, so we can only hope that the events of “I Call Marriage” are going to be worth it.

Judging from some of the details that we’ve got for you now, it certainly appears as though this is going to be the case.

Synopsis – “Toby throws a wrench in Kate’s weight loss journey. Randall struggles to accept his father’s deteriorating health. Miguel and Shelly break some devastating news to Jack and Rebecca, which makes them worry about their own relationship. Rebecca receives an amazing work opportunity. Kevin examines his romantic past.”

The biggest takeaway that we have from this is the “news” that will be coming our way courtesy of Miguel and Shelly. Is this going to give us a sense as to what happened between the two? It could be a building block towards events that eventually come in the future … though we don’t know how far in the future we’re talking about right now. After all, one of the biggest mysteries for the show remains precisely what happened to Jack; hopefully, we’re going to have a few answers on this subject before we make it to the end of the season. (We did see glimpses of his funeral tonight.)

As for Randall and William, let’s just say that we’re probably going to be concerned about the latter and his health from now until we get to the end of the road this season.

Promo – There’s a wedding that’ll be featured! Good news for those of you who want more of Jack and Rebecca. As for Kate, let’s just say that there could be a love triangle blooming in the present.
