‘Celebrity Big Brother 19’ loses former ‘X Factor’ star Stacy Francis

We’ll give Stacy Francis a little bit of credit on “Celebrity Big Brother” — after all, she lasted a little bit longer than we thought that she was going to heading into the competition.

The singer and former “X Factor” contestant was sent home on Tuesday after receiving the fewest amount of votes to be saved. This shouldn’t come as much of a shock to anyone, given that she really didn’t have much of a fan base in the UK at all before coming into the house. Even in America, we’re not sure too many people would be able to tell you who she was if you mentioned her name. She was most famous for the American version of the singing show, and she was last on it many years ago. (It’s been canceled for a little while now.) She didn’t make the finale that season, and since then has been better known for drama pertaining to the late Whitney Houston and, ironically, fellow former housemate Ray J.

What this proves is that Britain does still have a taste for some drama after making the choice to eliminate firecrackers James Jordan and Chloe Ferry recently. After all, Nikola McLean, Kim Woodburn, Jedward, and Speidi are all still in the running to win the grand prize at the end of the show. These are all people who have brought a lot of drama over time … though to be fair, we don’t think any of this is going to matter all that much given that James Cosmo is probably going to win the show at the very end of this, anyway. Most of Britain seems to love him, and the same goes for the remainder of the house. Never have we seen someone who refused to take part in a basic task of the house end up being such a fan favorite. He does seem like a sweet man, and we do love “Game of Thrones” — in other words, we get it.

According to host Emma Willis, there are two more evictions coming later this week — we’re really not all that far from the finale now, so we anticipate that things are going to be getting crazier soon well before they start to turn around and go in the other direction.
