‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Stef rushes Jesus to the hospital

Fosters -

The fourth season of “The Fosters” is inching ever closer to its return on January 31, and with that, there are quite a few different things to look forward to — but also a few other things to dread. At the top of this list is likely going to be the status of Jesus, who was badly injured in a fight with Nick at the end of the summer portion of the season. He was already nursing a serious head injury, and this incident only seemed to aggravate it.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Stef doing her best to rush Jesus over to the hospital for further care after the incident, and you can see him complaining heavily about the smell of gasoline … something that Stef does not really detect. We’re no doctor (so take this with a grain of salt), but smelling petroleum is a potential symptom for a brain injury or some other disorders. Given everything that Jesus has been through, it seems accurate that he could be having some of these problems going on.

The real test as we move forward this season is going to be seeing if he is able to recover from it, and we know that is going to prove itself to be no easy journey. We anticipate that the character is going to be spending much of the first few episodes fighting for his life, with the constant support of his moms and the rest of his family.

Unfortunately, the bad news for the Adams – Foster clan doesn’t stop there, given that over the course of the next few episodes you could see Brandon trying to figure out his place in life after seeing his Julliard dream crumble at his feet, while Callie will be facing legal woes stemming from many of her recent actions. While her intentions may have been good, said intentions did not necessarily follow the letter of the law.
