‘Bull’ episode 12 video: Danny James and an unfortunate spotlight
One of the things that “Bull” is slowly doing more and more of is giving some of their supporting cast time to shine in individual stories, and on Tuesday night’s new episode “Stockholm Syndrome,” you are going to have a fantastic opportunity to see that very thing. Unfortunately for one Danny James, this is not coming under the optimal circumstances. The former FBI Special Agent and member of the TAC is going to find herself at the center of a complicated case all thanks to something that happened in the past.
As the first sneak peek below gives away, a woman arrives to the TAC and holds the team hostage until she gets precisely what she wants: The team to look into what really happened to her husband. She blames Danny for him being put away in the first place, and she’s spent the better part of five years trying to track her down in order to resolve this case.
This is clearly one of the most dangerous cases that we’ve seen on the show to date, but judging from the photo above, the good news here seems to be that at some point, we are going to see the action eventually move to the courtroom. What complicates all of this in our mind is that even if this woman is correct in that her husband was wrongfully imprisoned, how compelled is the TAC going to be to help someone when they are facing the other side of the gun? Threatening the lives of Bull, Danny, and other people is not the way in which to ensure that you resolve a great injustice.
We’ll see precisely what the future holds when this episode airs on CBS Tuesday night. Given the title for it is “Stockholm Syndrome,” we almost wonder if this is a situation where the team gets held up for so long that they start to become interested in helping her just because she eventually gets them invested in her story.
