‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 15 preview: Return date for Alex O’Loughlin series
Tonight, “Hawaii Five-0” is bringing you a new episode on CBS, but we unfortunately are also bringing you a sad reminder that there is no new episode next week. Many networks are going off the air for January 27 as they prepare for the annual onslaught that is the February sweeps.
When the CBS crime drama returns on February 3, let’s just say that there is going to be a case like no other in “Ka pa’ani nui.” After all, we never quite imagined going into the season that there would be a case of any form coming up in which Nazi hunting was on the table in terms of a key story point. Yet, here we are, definitely interested to see precisely where this does end up going in the end. How often do you see cases that date all the way back to World War II?
Synopsis – “When working a murder case involving the illegal practice of shark finning, Five-0 uncovers the possibility that a former Nazi war criminal may be hiding out in an old leprosy colony in Hawaii.”
Once they discover this person’s presence, we then get to the next order of business: Figuring out the proper way in order to deal with them. We do wish we got a little bit more of a sense as to what is coming for Alex O’Loughlin and the rest of the cast, but sometimes, this is what happens when you’ve got an episode that is not coming for another couple of weeks. As a result of that, we probably will not have a promo to share for another seven days or so.
Since we cannot say anything else about the case, let’s just say that we hope to get some more great geographic of Hawaii. That is one of the many things the show does well, and we don’t quite get the sense of that in many other places.

I’m intrigued by the premise but, as you pointed out, Matt, how do you deal with a war criminal who’s gotta be in his nineties? I’m hoping there’s something unique about how they approach this story. Looking forward to it no matter what. The show is knockin’ it out of the park this season.
