‘Bones’ season 12 video: Prepare to get emotional all over again

Bones -Get ready to park yourself back in front of the television on Tuesday night, since there is quite a bit coming up that you are going to like from the world of “Bones.” You’ll see some familiar faces return, some shocking revelations, and in the end, a slow build towards what is very likely to be an emotional conclusion that caps off so many years of great entertainment.

If you want to be reminded yet again of how we got to this point, allow the latest video below to be your emotional guide from point A to point B. This is another lengthy look back at everything that happened over the course of the past eleven or so years, and it features the journey of all of the characters from the people they were at the start of all of this to the people that they are today. Of course, you see the wedding between Booth and Brennan, but then also at the same time you get a chance to see her welcoming a child, the two being there for each other during the hard times, and some of the typical crime-solving that you’ve come to know and love, as well.

As for why all this matters and is particularly relevant going into the remaining episodes, the answer to that feels fairly simple: Within this world, you are really the sum of all of your parts. Every one of these characters is shaped by what they’ve went through, who they’ve loved, and also who they’ve lost. The fact that they’ve been able to keep much of their spirit and joy intact despite the full scope of their journey is an achievement in itself.

Tonight, you’ll see an episode that features some drama around a retirement center, and that gives you a chance to see some rather incredible guest stars including June Squibb, Ed Asner, and Hal Holbrook. These three are great reservoirs of both humor and heart, and we therefore have a feeling that they’re going to bring a lot to the table over the course of the hour. We’ll be back with a little bit more on that later.
