‘Bull’ episode 11 preview: The case at the heart of ‘Teacher’s Pet’

Bull -

Tuesday night’s new episode of “Bull” is right around the corner, and for Bull and his entire team, this one is going to be tricky. You’re dealing with a civil suit, a divided family, and a teacher who is showing predatory behavior towards one of her students. The principal challenge here is finding a way to get said student on board, and to show that her inappropriate relationship with said student in Jordan is and will be a source of great emotional distress.

In the sneak peek below for “Teacher’s Pet,” you do not necessarily get a chance to meet Jordan or the teacher who is in love with him — or so he believes. Instead, this one’s all about Benny getting the lowdown on the case, and some of the clear issues that are being presented with it.

The biggest one seems to be getting Jordan to cooperate. All filing the civil suit against the teacher did was encourage him somewhere in his mind to get closer to her, and in turn, to push so many other people away. Now, he’s at a point where it’s not easy for many people involved in the case to get to him, and that’s challenging given that everyone needs him in order to help ensure that this goes down properly.

We never want to enter an episode of “Bull” using hyperbole that this one is the “biggest challenge that we’ve seen so far,” mostly because there are so many occasions in which the comparison really is apples to oranges. However, at the same time there is a very specific challenge about what Bull and Benny are going to have to do here. It’s one thing if the people on both side hate each other, and all you have to is ensure that your party wins. Unfortunately, what they are taking on here is the case of multiple people within the same family. They want to win, but have to find a way to do that without leaving all parties involved crumbling at the seams.
