‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kenya Moore deals with further Matt drama
So far, this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is one that has been ripe full of relationship conflict, and there are few situations that are anywhere near as volatile as the one between Kenya Moore and Matt. They’ve had many issues so far in the series, and we’re here to say that, unfortunately, we’re far from the end of the road with these issues now.
Sunday night’s new episode is going to begin with many of the Housewives returning home after Peter Thomas’ launch party; unfortunately, at the same time many other problems are going to start to rise to the surface with both Matt and beyond. In speaking of Peter, we also know moving into this episode that Cynthia Bailey is going to be making another move to try to move forward in the midst of the end of her own relationship.
Synopsis – “Kenya returns from Charlotte to discover “Moore Manor” has been vandalized once again by her estranged boyfriend Matt. Phaedra gives Kenya legal advice, and in the process reveals shocking secrets about her marriage. Cynthia and Noelle officially move out of their townhouse that they once shared with Peter, and some surprise houseguests show up at Kandi’s. Meanwhile, drama pops off at Phaedra’s pop-up shop between Kenya and an unexpected visitor.”
There seems to be a common trope for most of the season in “unexpected visitors.” There are some times in which we’ve seen this particular theme play out in the form of phone calls, just as we’ve also seen it play out here and there when it comes to people stopping by and messing things up. This trope ties into what is another common one when it comes to this franchise: Drama coming at various parties and shop debuts. If there’s an excuse for people to make a public spectacle, they’ll go for it.
