‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 11 reaction: Who is Kat Jarrett?
Last week, “Blindspot” slowed things down ever so slightly, or at least enough to give us a case that felt a little bit more personal. After all, this was a case about Patterson’s recovery, and also the team trying to figure out the proper way to take down Shepherd. There was an ethical dilemma regarding what happened with wiping out Roman’s mind, and that is something that persisted moving forward into Wednesday night’s new episode.
What we had a chance to see tonight was a particularly harsh recommendation for Roman: That he spend the rest of his life in an institution. Maybe there was the slightest bit of hope for him, but simultaneously, there was a heck of a lot of risk to it. That’s something that she is going to have to examine further as we get closer to the end of the season.
The saga of Reade and Tasha – After he returned to work, he felt bad for putting his feelings on her while he was in a little bit of a stupor. She didn’t seem to be too harsh on him as a result, but by the time we make it to the end of the episode, we started to get the feeling that she cared more about him than she was letting on. As a result of that, this relationship drama is far from over.
Patterson’s revelation – After doing some research (and really needing a break), she discovered something rather fascinating: A code discovered through Roman’s patterns, and one that brought her to a singular name: Kat Jarrett. Apparently, she is some sort of biker, and Roman has a past with her. It’s too bad he’s not going to remember it, but given the answers that this woman could provide, it’s worth it to consider throwing him back into the field — even if he’s CLEARLY not of the right mind to be out there.
Weller’s personal story – He wanted to prove that he can be a better person for those close to him, and at the same time, he had to pull out a few heroics here and there in a gym shootout. Learning that Allie had a job offer in Colorado, however, had to be a difficult for him to bear.
Next week – Let’s just say that the character of Roman is going to be front and center for a case all about a motorcycle. If you want to get some more news all about it, just be sure to head over to the link here! (Photo: NBC.)
