‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ takes on Donald Trump – Meryl Streep drama (video)

We began today’s news coverage by talking about the reaction from Donald Trump to Meryl Streep’s comments at the Golden Globes about him, and with that, isn’t it only fair that we also end the day doing the same exact thing? We’ve got for you below a new video courtesy of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” and this revolves in its entirety about the speech, the aftermath of it, and of course a variety of other things that Trump has used social media for that have caused controversy.

If there is one late-night host you can really count on at the moment to not hold anything back, it’s Meyers. Trump has already made it clear that he has no intention on ever appearing on the show, and at this point, probably won’t even mention him even after this segment.

Are there some statistics and commentary in here that you’ve heard everywhere else? Sure, but that is precisely what you’re going to get these days when it comes to late-night TV and Trump. The man is virtually everywhere, and every person under the sun has a few different things that they are going to want to say about him. The issue is trying to come up with some unique angle to use when bringing things to the table.

For Seth, that angle is simply having the time to really dive into issues and looking exactly at what Trump said now versus years ago. While this is not a comprehensive video on a “Last Week Tonight” level, we do think that there is a tremendous amount of substance to this — and also a few laughs depending on your point of view.
