‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Corinne Olympios, Brittany Farrar battle for Nick Viall’s attention at photo shoot

Corinne -Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor” is now right around the corner, and in what should be a surprise to almost no one out there, we’re going to see some competition in some shape or form during the first group date of the season.

As we reported previously, many of the women are going to be styled and prepared for a wedding-themed photo shoot with Nick Viall … and of course everyone will be fighting for attention. Our assumption here is that various women are assigned different roles, and this is going to be all about them trying to embrace the part they’re playing. (One of them is sporting a baby bump a la Clare during Juan Pablo’s first night!)

In a buildup towards Corinne Olympios taking her top off (which has been featured in many a tease so far this season), we see in the new sneak peek below (courtesy of ABC News) that she is apparently assigned a white bikini for her wedding outfit … which she appreciates, saying that she is the “hottest” of all the brides. However, much of her sentiment changes when Brittany Farrar comes out dressed for either some sort of nudist / Adam-and-Eve wedding, and all of a sudden she doesn’t have the same sense that she is going to be memorable. Maybe this is why said topless move happens in the first place?

The first interesting thing about Corinne’s thinking here seems to be that wearing less clothes = better, which isn’t always the case for some of these shows. The second thing is her thinking that she needs to be doing everything right away in order to get a rose. While you do want to stand out and get attention, there’s a difference between doing that and going a hundred miles per hour so early that you eventually burn yourself out and there’s nothing left by the end of the season? There’s something to be said for allowing things to play out naturally; there are a few exceptions here and there of the “villain” winning the show (Vienna, Courtney), but at the same time, the majority of the people to receive the final rose took a more measured approach to things.

Nonetheless, this sneak peek is probably the best evidence we have of Corinne making a case now for a “Bachelor in Paradise” role later.
