‘Bull’ episode 11 preview: When will Michael Weatherly, cast return?
Tonight, “Bull” season 1 returned with new episodes courtesy of “EJ,” an installment that is going to give you an opportunity to dive into the world of technology and self-driving cars — this is not a world that any CBS series tends to spend just an enormous amount of time in, so it’s a fun opportunity to dive into something super-current.
As for when the show is going to return with new episodes following the episode … let’s just say that you’re going to be waiting for a another week or two. While not confirmed as of yet, early indications suggest that the return date for the show will be Tuesday, January 17 — this is the same night that “NCIS” will be back on the air, so it does make a whole lot of sense for the show to be back on the air at around that time.
So why the delay to begin with? The simple answer is that President Obama is giving his farewell address next week, and there is going to be some time on the night where programming will be bumped off the air. With that in mind, we’re going to see priorities shift to a certain extent from a scheduling perspective. This is show that should be used to being in repeats here and there already, given that it went off for the Presidential Election, and there was also a point where it was preempted due to the World Series.
The one thing that we personally consider to be the biggest bummer of all at the moment is that we don’t have much news at all at the moment regarding the next episode, and that includes a title or a synopsis. Hopefully, these are things CBS will be announcing moving into the future.
