‘Scream Queens’ star Billie Lourd posts photo remembering Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds
It may now be 2017, but some of the wounds from this past year are still very much remaining.
One of the biggest ones is the string of terrible, tragic deaths at the end of the year, which started with George Michael before going on to Carrie Fisher and then Fisher’s own other Debbie Reynolds, an entertainment icon in her own right. Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd may be going through the most difficult time in her entire life right now, but she did emerge today to post an image (see below) of her with her mother and grandmother on Instagram.
Lourd is best known for her role on Fox’s “Scream Queens,” and has been supported by many of her co-stars on that show over this difficult time. She’s also received condolences and love aplenty from the world of “Star Wars,” which should not surprise anyone given her mother’s connections to it and also the cameo that she herself made in “The Force Awakens.”
It’s hard to say that anything good or positive can come of this, mostly because we don’t think anything can. Yet, our hope is that Lourd will continue to get all of the support that she needs, and that over time for her, things will get better and she will have some further opportunities to heal and recover from what happened.
It should be expected given the situation, but our thoughts and best wishes are going to continue to go Lourd’s way, as she does her best to recover during what has to be an impossibly difficult time for her. (Photo: Fox.)
