‘Will & Grace’ revival: Megan Mullally fuels the fire after ten-episode report

Will and Grace -

Yesterday, there was some news that came out via guest star Leslie Jordan that “Will & Grace” may find itself a second life on the air. This is absolutely something that is exciting to think about, but at the same exact time, there was not much in the way of confirmation yet from NBC when the quotes came out

While that remains true today, maybe you do still consider the following to be a hint that something more will be revealed soon: The photo below, which was posted on Twitter courtesy of the show’s former star in Megan Mullally. It is kind of funny that she posts “self-explan” followed with an emoji, which we hypothesize is her saying “self-explanatory” in a clever way. Yet, the only thing that we think this explains is that today is New Year’s Day and we should all be drinking as many martinis as we responsibly can.

Jordan’s comments suggested that there would be a revival of ten episodes filming this summer, and after seeing this from Mullally (who was far more prominent in the entire series) as opposed to a denial, we are feeling perhaps even more confident than before that it is happening. If it wasn’t, why would Mullally take a page from the Backstreet Boys and keep playing games with our heart? The last thing that you wanna do is lead people on.

There is a genuine fear — or at least there is on our end — that this revival comes out and is a disappointment like we’ve seen with some other revivals as of late (we’re not talking about “Gilmore Girls,” so get that idea out of your head right now). Yet, what do we have to lose? Even if this doesn’t turn out to be great, it’s not the equivalent of going back in time and erasing the fun stuff that was there. This is a fun, iconic comedy, and it will always stay that way.
