‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: On Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and Peter’s club drama
Tonight, Bravo did something that is likely catching a good many people out there by surprise in choosing to air a new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” After all, it’s New Year’s Day! This is not often a time in which many people opt to air new episode against the competition of the holiday, so we will give Bravo and everyone involved a little bit of credit for at least being bold and making this move when it is clearly something that they didn’t have to do.
There’s another episode of the show following up this one, and we have to say that after spending so much time dealing with nonsense of Kenya Moore versus Phaedra Parks, we’re glad to be moving on to focus on a few other things. With that said, we’re not altogether sure that we are going to see Kenya Moore or Cynthia Bailey feeling anywhere near as excited, given that they are going to be front and center for a lot of conflict over a decision that the former makes.
Synopsis (via TV Guide) – “Kenya is enlisted to host Peter’s club opening in Charlotte, but Cynthia isn’t invited to join the celebration. Also: Kandi feels betrayed by an ex-employee; Sheree anticipates the release of her tell-all book; Porsha moves back in with her mother; and an unexpected guest visits Phaedra.”
Basically, the question that we have right now whether or not Kenya should’ve tried to smooth things over with Cynthia before taking the gig. After all, she’s going to be spending a lot of time with her over the course of the season, so why not at the very least try to make things easier?
As for everything else coming up, why do we keep needing tell-all books from people who are already on a reality show to speak their mind? We don’t understand that.
