‘This Is Us’ season 2, episode 11 video: New promo highlights road ahead

The first season of “This Is Us” to date has taken you on an emotional whirlwind, one that is stuffed full of twists, turns, surprises, and so much more.

What is perhaps the most notable thing about this is that the journey is not entirely over just yet. The video below is your first look at the show’s return to the air on January 10, and within this, you do get a great opportunity to see some of the emotional moments coming up as you’ll see more of Jack and Rebecca’s journey, plus an avalanche of tender moments between Randall and William in the present. There is so much that is going to be happening over the course of the remaining hours this season, and we imagine that a good percentage of it will make you cry. Not bad for a show listed as a comedy in the Golden Globes, right?

The primary order of business for this show in the immediate future is addressing the fate of the Toby character in particular, given that the first part of the season ended on a fairly massive cliffhanger where this character’s life was left hanging in the balance. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to see some more answers on this subject, and look towards a bright future … but that’s just the optimistic part of our brain. This is a show that has already shown itself many times over to not be afraid of killing off characters, so we’d be crazy to believe that they are suddenly afraid of doing so now.

As expected, this preview does not do much at all in terms of giving away information regarding what is coming up for Toby or Kate, but why would they? There’s no reason to give that away when it’s all but assured that people will keep watching.
