‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Erika Girardi and ‘The Young and the Restless’

We’ve got another new episode coming up of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Tuesday night, and with that, here’s to hoping that a lot of entertainment comes out of it! This episode is going to be largely about Erika Girardi in so many ways, whether it be a certain underwear controversy or her getting to try her hand potentially in the soap-opera world.

For the sake of this article, we want to focus more on the latter just because a whole article talking about the former comes across as a little bit creepy — and we certainly don’t want that. In the video below, you can see a little bit of Erika having a conversation with Eileen Davidson on the set of “The Young and the Restless” as the two have a rather-lengthy conversation regarding her being back after a visit last year, and if she was to take on a speaking part, just what sort of role on the show she could have.

This is where things get really funny to us, since we get some suggestions before Erika does her best to nail out what she thinks her type is. We always do appreciate it when Housewives are both humorous and also self-aware, and we do think that she hits the nail on the head in both instances here. She’s very funny, but at the same time has a pretty clear understanding of what her brand is, and the sort of bad-girl roles that she can excel at.

Ultimately, we know that this appearance on the show actually happened, as it aired recently and featured both Girardi and Davidson in a fight. Clearly, the idea that was born out of this conversation turned out to be a great one!
