‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Erika Girardi drama galore

Let’s start off this particular “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” article by giving a welcome round of applause to the people over at Bravo, who have given fans a nice holiday gift by keeping this show on the air regardless of the holidays. Thanks in part to when it is airing during the week, there is no real need to throw it into repeats between now and New Year’s Day. Even still, this is not something that other shows are doing, given that there are many others that are staying dark until early January.

When this show does return to Bravo on Tuesday night, there are going to be a wide array of different stories that we’re going to have a chance to see, but it feels like a number of them are going to revolve pretty firmly around Erika Girardi after a certain “incident” on this past episode led to a lot of gossip. We’ll let the synopsis below via TV Guide speak for itself here:

“Erika’s wardrobe malfunction comes into question. Meanwhile, Lisa Rinna oversees a 24-hour garment-selling marathon, Erika explores a future in acting with Eileen and Dorit embarks on a risky maneuver to confront Erika.”

Based on the preview that aired a little bit earlier in the week for this episode, Dorit seems intent on going as far as to even buy Erika underwear in order to bring attention to her wardrobe choices. Lisa Vanderpump instead uses it as an excuse to make a few snarky remarks and Erika isn’t impressed with Dorit’s “gift”. This is probably not going to end well, and we envision that there’s going to be an eruption of conflict between Erika and Dorit.

Can we see someone being upset about seeing a certain part of someone else’s anatomy that they didn’t want to see? Sure, but at the same time that doesn’t necessarily have to mean that it needs to turn into a public ordeal and stand up on a soapbox about it. Especially since there are many women out there that had done this in order to avoid the embarrassing underwear lines under a beautiful dress.
