‘The Fosters’ season 4 spoilers: A few assorted teases and renewal hopes
In leading up to Christmas and Hanukkah yesterday, executive producer Bradley Bredeweg did a Q&A with many of the show’s fans, but in the process reminded everyone that despite some stories circulating online, the show has not been officially renewed as of yet. Hopefully, this is something that will be coming in the next month or so, but nothing is official — at the very least, we’re optimistic. Fellow EP Peter Paige spoke to us over the summer, and said that he firmly believed that the show could still go on for a long time depending on how interested all parties involved were with continuing the story.
As for a few teases on season 4, Bredeweg says (see some of the tweets below) that we may be gearing up for one of the show’s biggest cliffhangers ever, that we’re going to get a “layered and sophisticated” ten episodes this winter, and that Jude and Noah are going to get a lot of time in order to tell their story. Also, there are a lot of different emotions that you’re going to feel as you watch it unfold — which feels pretty much in line with everything that we know about this show already.
Based on the promo that is out there right now for the show’s return, there are two major stories that we’re going to have a chance to watch unfold coming up. Callie has to figure out a way to get out of a car with a potential murderer, while Jesus’ life hangs in the balance following the fight that he had with Nick.
Stay tuned, “The Fosters” fans — and happy holidays! We’ll have some further news coming your way soon enough. (Photo: Freeform.)
