‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 11 video: Callie, Jesus in crisis in first promo

Fosters -The fourth season of “The Fosters” is going to be premiering on Tuesday, January 31, and judging from the latest promo just released by Freeform, this one certainly looks as though it is going to be an emotional series of events.

Judging from the new preview that was just released, it specifically looks as though we’re going to be picking up almost immediately where the show left off at the end of the summer finale. That means in particular that Callie is still going to be in a car with a man she believes to be a killer, and she has to figure out a way to get out of this situation. (That can’t be easy.)

Meanwhile, if you remember Jesus was involved in a very physical incident with Nick after he saw him getting close to Mariana, and as a result of both that and a serious head injury that he suffered trying to cover for Gabe, he will be fighting for his life in the hospital. You see Lena praying to not have her child taken away from her, and given that we don’t exactly consider this to be a particularly religious show, you should take that as some degree of evidence that things are going to be incredibly serious.

Given that this is “The Fosters” and it is a show that likes to install a certain degree of hope, we want to assume that we’re not looking at a worst-case scenario sort of situation here. Yet, at the same exact time we have to assume that there are going to be some hardships still along the way.

If you missed it, we’re in the midst of doing our CarterMatt Awards this month and David Lambert is nominated for Underrated Actor! If you want to read some more news about that, be sure to head over to this link. (Photo: Freeform.)
