‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 spoilers: Look who’s coming back!

Given that “Teen Wolf” is in the midst of its final season, it makes a little bit of sense that the show would want to bring back as many different familiar faces as possible before we get around to the end of the road — even those who we haven’t seen in a little bit of time.

Ultimately, this is what this particular article is all about. In a post on Instagram, Matthew Del Negro confirmed that he will be returning to the MTV show as Rafael McCall at some point before the series is over, and that has to be considered a cause for celebration. This marks his first appearance on the show since all the way back in 2014, and since that time he’s certainly been rather busy thanks to appearances on such other shows like “Scandal” and “Mistresses.”

While we don’t exactly know just how long we’re going to see Del Negro back for, a small appearance is ultimately better than no appearance at all. Given some of Rafael’s background, we do think that the character could actually prove somewhat useful in helping Scott and company, provided that he actually knew everything about what was going on. Maybe this new appearance marks an opportunity for that.

Given that “Teen Wolf” this season already brought back Peter, we do certainly get the sense that the writers are eager to throw as many callbacks out there as humanly possible. At the top of our wishlist would be either Colton Haynes or Crystal reed turning back up, but there’s no sign of that actually happening at the moment.
