‘Blindspot’ season 2 spoilers: Want more of Rich Dotcom?
If we were to compare Rich Dotcom on “Blindspot” to another character on an NBC show, he’s probably the series’ version of Mr. Kaplan from “The Blacklist.” He’s an enigmatic, incredibly-interesting person who we don’t always get to see; yet, when we do, it’s easy to be really happy as a result.
Luckily, we do know that the character will be returning at some point during the second half of the season; more so than that, we also know now that we’re going to be seeing him interact directly with Weller! According to a new report coming in via TV Guide, this character is going to be a little bit more in lockstep with some other members of the team when it comes to trying to handle some characters from his past.
By the end of this episode, maybe we’ll get a better sense as to what Rich has gone through, and also if there is any potential hope that the character could be working more with Weller and Jane moving forward. However, at the same time the report notes that there are some connections that are there between him and Sandstorm — mostly because of a former friend. In other words, it’s probably wrong to assume that he is going to be working alongside the FBI permanently.
If nothing else, consider this upcoming episode a chance to learn a little bit more about the character, and we hope that there will be some further opportunities to do so as we start to move a little bit further into the future. New episodes of “Blindspot” are going to be premiering starting in the new year, and we’re going to have a few more updates on what’s coming up over the course of the coming days.

Rich DotCom ~ Yay!!! I’d rather have Rich around (with all his shenanigans…!) than Allie or Nas! They add nothing relevant to the plots anymore while Rich is refreshing in his antics ~ and his obvious insight into the Jane and Weller connection!!! Rich easily reads Jeller like a self-help book!!!!
